Uber Technologies (UBER) stock dropped 12% on fears about self-driving cars from Waymo, owned by Alphapet (GOOGL) and Tesla (TSLA), but this analyst (and myself) think the market is overreacting and sees Uber rising 40% to $110 per share by 2026.
Uber is partnering with multiple robotaxi companies instead of competing against them, while also growing its food delivery business and using AI to show better ads—making money in ways many investors are overlooking.

Quote I'm Thinking About
We'll double dip into Oaktree Capital's Howard Marks this week as he loves to share this quote that's attributed to Mark Twain: "It ain't what you don't know that gets you into trouble; it's what you know for sure that just ain't so."
History, Money, Religion and Economics. Author David McWilliams joined Meb Faber to talk about his book: The hidden history of money. Finance and history nerds will enjoy this one!
Barron's own Andrew Bary picked 10 stocks last year that almost doubled the S&P500. He's back to share his ten for 2026, and one of them, Fairfax Financial Holdings (FRFHF), is now on my radar.
I caught this interview on Nexstar Media (NXST) owned WGN radio with a great charity called Bricks of Hope. Their mission is to create play and inspire imagination in sick kids by delivering LEGO® to them during their hospital stays. On a side note, one of the best feelings I get is from receiving dividends and compounding our money. But there is literally no better feeling than giving away some of that money to those who find themselves in tough situations. Cheers!

5 Uber Technologies (UBER) | $79.50 - Uber has been on my radar and I've been waiting to start a position under $80. This is an exploratory position, as I feel WAY more compelled to dive deeper and build (or lose) conviction when I have real money in a company. It's a company I personally use and find it interesting how they're trying to automate ride-sharing and also enter the local trucking industry.
6 Schwab International Dividend ETF (SCHY) | $29.49 - Reinvested dividends because this ETF gives you ownership in hundreds of dividend-paying companies across Europe, Japan, and other developed countries all in one ticker, so you get international diversification and income without having to research foreign stocks or deal with buying individual companies in different markets yourself.
