Do You Suffer From Premature Accumulation?

โ€‹Jonathan Boyar was on The Compound and Friends podcast and had the most brilliant phrase I've heard in years - Premature Accumulation!

They were talking about Microsoft (MSFT), how cheap it's getting (FYI I'm about to hit the MSFT buy button) and that they're buying. But because we don't know where the exact bottom is, we may buy way before a stock reaches its lowest point.

I've experienced premature accumulation with Kinsale Capital (KNSL) recently because I started accumulating in the $370's and we're now in the $320's.

But this is a long-term position, and if the business fundamentals and my thesis for investing stay intact, it'll all work out. Premature accumulation in the right companies is nothing to be embarrassed about.
